Brother Uwakwe Chukwu – Founder
Uwakwe Christian Chukwu (PH.D) is the Founder of Hearts of Jesus and Mary Ministries, and the host of the Holy Spirit Prayer line. He was born in Mburubu, Enugu State, Nigeria. He graduated in 1996 from Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department of Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), Nigeria, with a BS degree in Engineering, in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. In 2003, he obtained M.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Nigeria.
He lectured in the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from 2004-2008 in University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria before coming to the US for studies. In 2011, Dr. Chukwu obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of Tennessee Technological University (TTU), U.S.A. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Industrial & Electrical Engineering Technology of South Carolina State University. Dr. Chukwu has over 10 years of Research and Teaching experience in power system analysis, planning and operations.
He has several international scholarly publications to his credit, and is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (IEEE), and National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE).
Dr. Uwakwe Chukwu is a practicing Catholic and lives in Simpsonville, SC with his family where they worship at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church parish under Rev. Fr. Cooper (Parish Priest). He is married to Chinyere Uwakwe, and blessed with four children.
